I'm the first to admit my eyes aren't so great, but it looks to me that the fasteners sheared on the specimen shown on the far right. I don't see where the sheet metal pulled through. What was the fastener diameter?
I think the equivalency issue is a non-issue. You used each process as it would be applied in real life, not "per square inch."
The adhesive is called "Winzer Universal Panel Bonding Adhesive"?
