Thanks for the info. Dropped the pan last night and found a nice amount of sludge in the bottom as the drain plug doesn't sit as low as it should. Something I haven't seen before is all the white paste under the sludge. Would that be from leaded gas back in the day, or more indicative of being a babbitt engine?
