I have a minor problem with my carb, maybe only a link that came loose. BUT, in looking through some posts on the forum, I had some questions regarding the fir of the carb to my engine. I got my engine and carb as a package from a local shop, used, but had reason to believe that it was in good shape. I am having some reason to question that now, but that is another story.

The engine is a 1955 235 from an unknown application. I have it in a 46 truck with a 4 speed tranny (that is the way it came to me). The carb is a Rochester 1 bbl series B carb. It has an automatic choke. From what I have read, it sounds like that came from a passenger car. Is that correct? Do I have any issues? Is there a way to convert to manual choke (I am partial to manual). And is there a way to add the manual throttle (dash control).
