Just want to echo what 35 trucker said. It appears to me that in the Twin Cities (MN) area the 10K+ for show quality, 6K for very nice, and 3K for daily driver quality.

It appears that I am like you. That is, if you put all this work into the truck, might as well do a good job of paint. Paint quality is usually what people notice first.
