Don't guess- - - - -measure. A standard bore 235 would have a 3 9/16" bore, 3.5625". Since the piston has a little clearance built into it, measuring the piston across the thrust faces 90 degrees from the wrist pin should give a measurement of around 3.561 or a bit less. Normal oversizes would be .020" over- - - -3.581, .030" oversize- - - -3.591, or 40 over, 3.601, etc.
