Get a 12V coil and a ballast resistor and a bigger clamp/mount. Instructions are in our tech tip section. "Electrical/12V conversion".
Coil: O'Reilly's 38-9084 or equivalent.
Coil Clamp: O'Reilly's 9777 or equivalent.
Ballast Resistor: O'Reilly's 2-5214 or equivalent.
Do you know how to incorporate the "bypass" system for above parts? Do you have a foot start, key start or button start?
HEI is good but not necessary. Do it later after truck runs good and no burnt points.
