Hey James, I'm glad you got it figured out. I looked at my brackets and did notice that the slotted holes are spaced differently between the front and back brakets.
I am going to mount my running boards different than factory. I think it will be easier to spot weld bolts into the running board holes. Then put nuts on the bottom of the running board bracket. I think this will work.
Did you take your front fenders off? I am going to seperate the inner fender from the fender. The inner fender is riveted to the fender. I am going to us bolts in place of the rivets. Then mount the inner fenders t the cab and radiator support first. Then I can attach the fender easier
