The Stovebolt Site Forums The Shop Area Driveline Auxiliary Reservoir?

I didn’t mean to confuse. It is a 1940 1 1/2 Ton Chevrolet with a Ward box body. The brake reservoir is mounted on the firewall and runs down to the master cylinder. The engine is s 216 with a four speed and closed driveline. I imagine this reservoir assisted in extra braking power back in the day. I hope to reuse as much as possible of the parts where I can of a very rough but unusual truck.

I posted photos of the truck on big bolts and Jerry has been a huge resource of information on the engine and transmission.

Does anyone have this reservoir on their trucks?
