Elgin Industries. Elgin Cams is a custom cam grinder that specializes in racing cams. E-293S is the correct number, the same one we installed in John's 261. They call it a "290 degree" duration, but that includes the clearance ramps where the valve isn't off the seat. The actual "valve open" duration with a degree wheel is in the mid-250's. That's just right for good low end torque and smooth idle.
