Great, thanks for the information and installation tip. One more question, did you use the same procedure on the back rest or is it thinner than the bench?

I did not use carpet when assembling the seat back, just jute, cotton batting and I do not recall if I maybe added a one-inch layer of foam. My seat bottom measures about 6 inches high to piping, and about 7-8 inches at highest seating area. The back measures about 4 3/4 inches thick at top and bottom, and about 6 inches thick at lumbar area.
