I used a 3/4 drive , 1- 5/8 " socket, had the OD turned down to 2.140" for a length of .850" from the end of the socket on a friends lathe in order to get it to fit into the allowed clearance. Used 1/2' drive impact with adapter to remove the nut, Used a pipe wrench on the "yoke" rotated to wedge against the floor to prevent it from turning . Worked like a charm !
