I go to Europe on occasion, but cannot bring it in my suitcase due to government restrictions. How much paint are you talking about? At times I have ocean freight shipments going (but not very often) and possibly/maybe/hopefully I could stow the paint in the container without violating safety regulations.
Next question: I don't get to Switzerland. Is it possible to ship from Italy or UK to Switzerland?
How much documentation would be required for such a shipment? VAT/customs/duties?
I would like to help you out, but I worry that it might be further complicating things!
I am really surprised that an auto repair shop is unable to match paint by code. Is it possible that ICI has a "paint translator" from Dupont/PPG to theirs? Just a thought...
