Back off the shoe adjusters, make sure the emergency brake cables aren't pulled tight, tap around the drum with a dead blow or rubber hammer and see if that helps. Probably just some rust making your job difficult. You can always put a big puller on the drum and carefully pull it after loosening the shoe adjustment.
