I expect most makers of PTO's offered one with the right gears for the transmission at hand, and for the application too. Reversing, low speed, high speed, clockwise, CCW, full or part time... there are so many PTO variations out there.
To widen your search try to scare up some old PTO catalogs and see what was offered and what you might want to use.
For example, here are some recent catalog pages for Clark, didn't see the 205 listed, but you can see there were a lot of choices..
https://www.munciepower.com/cms/files/Products/Literature/Documents/QR/CLAR-03.pdfhttp://www.parker.com/parkerimages/chelsea/cat/english/HY253001/PDFs/Applications/Clark.pdfAlso when hunting for a PTO the same housing will usually fit gears that allow it to fit many different transmissions, even different makes, so unless you take it off the very same model transmission you have it's still a gamble if it'll fit.
Full catalog, lots of good info in the beginning.
