They're fairly robust, I haven't had my 3600 on them which I believe is in the 5k range, but they worked very well under the Duster (about 3,200 lbs.). I wouldn't hesitate to use them on a 5k vehicle. Moving a vehicle around is a breeze with a set wheel dollies and the first time I used them, I kicked myself for not buying a set much earlier. Sure beat tugging and pushing a rig on two floor jacks.
