I'm getting ready to put a '64 327 in my 57 1/2 ton Chevy step side. I bought the front motor mounts from Jim Carter. The bottom bolt holes on the brackets that mount on the engine are oval shaped as if they are meant to be adjustable. The holes aren't clean; they look as if someone drilled two holes next to each other. I asked them about it, and they said all of their other ones look the same. The thing is I've seen old factory mounts, and I don't remember the holes being shaped like that. Any thoughts on this?
