Thanks for all the great advice guys.

I spoke with the machine shop and he was essentially trying to keep costs down and thought a new set of pistons for 290 was cheaper than sleeving and decking. He also expressed some concern about sleeving two of the side by side pistons. I forget the reason he said I think it was warping?
I appreciate him trying to keep cost down for me but if I could sleeve with no deleterious effects and possibly get another bore out of it in the future I would prefer to spend the extra money now.
