29- - - -what is your oil pressure when the lifter is noisy? The squirt-oilers with Babbit bearings barely had enough oil pump volume to handle a solid lifter system. Add the volume needed to keep a set of hydraulic lifters pumped up, and you're running on the ragged edge of not enough flow all the time. If I can ever get my high volume oil pump conversion up and running, it just might solve a bunch of problems, noisy hydraulic lifters included.
