To my knowledge (based only on the fact I own a 50 Chevy COE and a 51 Chevy 3100) that should be fine. I believe the cab mounts are the same and other than door handles/latches and ventipanes for the doors being different between the years, I think things are the same. I don't have any experience with a 52 COE and maybe someone else can chime in.
