The military bases require a CAC (Common Access Card) to enter the gates. My anal retentive pedantic retired Marine/Navy friend always tries to correct me when I say, CAC card. I immediately redress him and insist that I actually said CA card (which sounds the same). Squid (he was in the Navy at the end of his career) then gave me the stink eye.
My grandpa had a hammer toe on the piggy which stayed home. He had Doc Evans just chop it off. Shortly after that, it quit hurting after it started feeling better...
