For helping keep this great
old truck web site
on the Internet for over 30 years! and not clogged down with Ads! Again, thanks! | | | | Joined: Feb 2006 Posts: 222 Shop Shark | | Shop Shark Joined: Feb 2006 Posts: 222 | I was going to replace the broken windows in my 1935 pickup and discovered the rail/channel that the window sits in is rusted out. When I got if off the glass and the old setting tape off I noticed the channel had split and could not be reused. I have two questions, the first being, what is this metal channel called. The second question is where can I get a replacement? It is an unusual piece because the top part of this piece has a channel that the glass is inserted into and the underside has a track with a groove that the window regulator arm ball runs in that is curved. Any ideas? Thanks in advance!
