A couple years ago I decided I'd like a 1951 plate to mount on the front of my truck, mistakenly thinking I'd get fewer "what year is it" questions (no change). It was sorta enjoyable checking all the dusty boxes and bins in junk and antique shops.....no luck. Finely found a very nice plate from an Ebay seller in of all places, New York City! As I recall it was a bargain at $25. Some online sellers were getting $75 for similar plates.
