I've got a question, but first the facts: 1953 3100 with a replacement 235, torque tube and 3 speed transmission.
Based on advice from another post, I want to buy an input shaft to use as a pilot bushing installation tool. I found a candidate online for a good price, but it is not from the same transmission as the one in my truck. The input shaft in question is from a 60-69 Muncie M21. My question is: are the dimensions the same and will I be able to use it for installing the pilot bushing and later, the clutch? Any information/advice is greatly appreciated.
