The chrome on the front bumper of my all-original 41 pickup is in bad shape. When I bought the truck 20 years ago I had the bumper re-chromed locally, but it was not done well. Over the years large sheets of the plating have come off.
Would it be better to try again? If so, who does a good job? Or should I look for an NOS bumper. If so, where?
