I know guys using it on 235s. I measured the length, marked the shaft to ensure it is actually in the oil pump. Gear connects perfectly, but it is sitting too high. I found a pin I can knock out. Will that allow me to make it longer? Part listed link below.

FYI, I will be pulling the distributor off the not so happy engine to double check proper length Tomorrow. Old distributor needs to be replaced and I shouldn’t reuse it. Thoughts?
