Joined: Apr 2002 Posts: 2,168 | I have my chrome pieces back from the chrome shop and wanted to ask opinions on installation of the hood pieces. Should a gasket be placed underneath the model (9430- 1 ton) and GMC hood side call out? Any side piece I've removed didn't seem to have a gasket.
Also, I haven't seen a reproduction gasket for the GMC front chrome piece that attaches to the grill surround. Should I make one or install without a gasket?
