Well a couple of months ago I was real happy with a new 12 volt regulator I purchased at Napa? Now going to work in the morning I am now noticing no charge at the ammeter and as I am stopping at a light the head lights are almost going out. Now hopefully when I polarized the regulator with the engine running I run a wire from the Bat. on the regulator to the arm. real quick maybe 2 seconds. The parts guy said the engine should have not been running when I polarized the regulator just like when you do a generator. I also took the cover off the regulator, started the engine and there is some fire works going on under the field points which does not look normal, maybe an adjusment? No savy need a little bailout here Bolters thank you....
