NOS does not mean used, as evidently were those tie rods that were sold to
you under false pretenses.
As Jerry said NORS means they where made back in the day when the car,
truck, was on the road during it's first life.
NORS doe not mean junk or gold.
What is important is does the part have a trusted quality brand name 50 years
ago, as Blue Streak or some cheap low quality junk.
And a good point was mentioned that some NOS parts can be in poor condition
depending on the materials made from and how they were stored for all those
