I was working on the fuse box Sunday with a Dremel & a tiny wire wheel. It is cleaning up nicely and I'm going to paint the metal bits with an aluminum paint that will look something like the original plating. In the contact areas the plating was still mostly intact and I'll leave those clean and unpainted.
The fuse box & other parts have little clips that are tightened with a screw down on top of the fork from the harness. While holding one of these with a pair of needle nosed pliers the little wheel grabbed it and launched into orbit. I can get another one from the now discarded regulator but I think I would rather have a set of new plated ones. Looking on the Classic Parts site I saw nothing. Any ideas where I can get a small quantity of these?
