Hello all. I was hoping someone would have some insight on an inline 6 I have in a 66 C10 with 3 speed. I'm unsure if the motor is original to the truck but as far as I understand, 1966 was the first year for the 250. The numbers I have been able to gleam from the block is the block casting 3877178C which just tells me it is either a 230 or 250 (although I don't know what the C means). The code near the distributor is F0219FA. I can find just about every suffix code online other than FA. So far I can determine it was made in Flint on February 19th from that code. I can't seem to find the date code near the starter. The only other number I've found is CON2. I haven't been able to make out the shape of the pistons which would at least tell me if it was a 230 or 250. Any info would be appreciated. Thanks.
