Sun was always very protective of their sales/service network. It was almost impossible to get any sort of repair information- - - - -"Make an appointment- - - -we will send a service technician". I was a training instructor for Sun shortly before the company got into financial trouble and was purchased by Snap-On in the mid 1990's. I would be very surprised if any technical material at all can be found pertaining to distributor testers. I do know that the neon flash tubes for the strobe light were all made by one employee- - - -who retired and did not share some of his secrets! My Sun distributor tester has a strobe that doesn't flash, and no replacements have been available in over 20 years!
