I use the aerosol carb cleaner from the FLAPS. After you have the carb disassembled, spray it down all the orifices and then blow it out with compressed air. Using a respirator while doing this is a good idea.
When I was a kid, my Dad didn't have a compressor. It was my job to pump like hell on the tire pump while he used the air to blow the crap out.
