For helping keep this great
old truck web site
on the Internet for over 30 years! and not clogged down with Ads! Again, thanks! | | | | Joined: Oct 2017 Posts: 42 Wrench Fetcher | | Wrench Fetcher Joined: Oct 2017 Posts: 42 | I was looking at stuff to bring my old dizzy up to snuff and Summit Racing offered a Summit Racing® Blueprinted HEI Distributor during my browsing. The price for a whole new unit looks attractive and it looks like it will bolt right in. If I understand the ad correctly this unit will need a coil & set of wires to take advantage of its features. I already had bought a Pertonix unit (which would now be surplus) along with the coil & wires to go with it.
Are these Summit Racing® Blueprinted HEI Distributor good reliable units?
Can I use the Flamethrower coil & special wires bought already with it or does it need something else?
