I have a 1955 6400 (2nd series) I am taking baby steps with. Starting with the rear I was going to sandblast the frame, weld a new flatbed, etc. I told this to the mechanic I talk to and he said he would reconsider due to the sand or "media" getting in everywhere, possibly wrecking things.
Any input?
