Most of it is different. The rear fenders and running boards are prolly the only thing exactly the same. The front fenders have indentions for the 54 parklamps and the bedsides are embossed around the rear fenders. The bedside rails are flat as compared to angled on the 53. The cab has a one piece windshield on the 54. The 54 frame has a taller hump at the bed than the 53. You can use these parts but some mods will need to be done and it will not look like a 53.
