I had the same problem on my 59 small window. When I pulled the roof skin off and welded in the big window frame and supports, I found the previous owner had fiberglassed this area. I made my own, but what a pain, it is curved in three dimensions. Fiberglass seems the easiest way in hindsight. The previous owner had glassed it from the inside, so I guess the roof was off once before. Hope it helps. :rolleyes:
