I've been there done that. If you'd rather switch to Disc brakes. https://www.hollisterroad.com/proddetail.php?prod=47-59SRWDISCI'm currently switching. It's taken me several years now. I'm a better Electrician than Mechanics. But I've been able to install everything so far except for some welding on the rear end.
