You will gain zero more room at the top of the seat as it is already against the back of the cab. A thinner seat that has the back more vertical will move your butt back some and give more leg room. For some really tall people we go to a smaller steering wheel for knee clearance but this is usually coupled with power steering. AD's were definitely smaller driver friendly.
