A Blazer tank fits good and has the filler neck angled toward the left rear fender while the Mustang filler is center mounted. I don't like a filler cap poking through the bed wood as it gets in the way of any cargo in the bed. Pictures of a 52 with Blazer tank, filler tube routing, and motorcycle type "pop up" fuel filler cap. If cap is painted body color it is nearly invisible.
