make sure the paint pot is pressurized. I am not familiar with your particular gun but, on mine, every now and then the air supply into the pot (very low pressure) gets plugged so the pot actually has vacuum and no pressure.
Also, it almost sounds like your paint may not be stirred up enough, or is a bit too thick still.
