I agree with checking all of the connections for corrosion and verify the ground wire on the sending unit is well grounded but I'm wondering about the guage itself. Somewhere on this site was a guage troubleshooting guide and I'm also wondering that if we knew what the resistance was supposed to be , if you could check the resistance on the sending unit to see if its correct for what it should be with a full tank ? There's another post on this same forum, might check it out to see if that provides some help. I'm anxious to see other folks recommendations.
