For helping keep this great
old truck web site
on the Internet for over 30 years! and not clogged down with Ads! Again, thanks! | | | | Joined: Sep 2010 Posts: 695 Shop Shark | | Shop Shark Joined: Sep 2010 Posts: 695 | Guys sorry I'm late getting back to your replies. Tim, I bought the cover for my '59 truck when I switched over from 3'sp column with an SM-318 to a 4 speed on the floor. The seller couldn't tell me what it came out of and I bought it from the pictures, based on the shifter hole and E-Brake slot since I have an E-Brake on the SM-420. I acquired some learning from that. First, that a humped version of the cover was required for my SM-420! I just need to get this cover out of my garage and wanted to identify it properly.
I'd love to see a pic of this type of cover used with the "Powermatic" and E-Brake in a big bolt. Does anyone have one they could share?
Thanks again! Jerry | | |
