I was asked to put an LS1 (2014 corvette) into a 51 COE.
Didn't think it was possible so I mocked the whole thing up, Dummy engine block and transmission, Corvette manifolds (block hugging) and motor mounts.
Had the body off the frame exposing the additional cab support structure of a COE.
The taper in the frame rails and the support structure as well as the cross member made it out of the question for any one except a full custom shop that was equipped to do frame modifications and a lot more.
The only possible option would have been to move the engine rearward so far that half of the block would be sticking out behind the cab. Pretty dumb I think.
