Oil can weep out the threads of bolts, especially if using gear oil. Most use John Deere corn head grease for lubricant. It is a 00 grade, self leveling grease, little thicker and not as likely to come out like gear oil. With new seal and tight bushings, the oil will work, just be sure the sector shaft is not worn.
