So I am guessing that you are taking on this adventure because you are bound and determined to make a top-loading Tremec 3650 5 speed work in an old truck, but you are having a problem with the extremely rear mounted shifter location.
I was given a brand new one of those babies and I wanted to use it in the worst way, but I bailed out because of my disdain for the complicated arrangement of parts of a 3 on the tree, not to mention making it a 5 on the tree. (actually that ambitious thought never even occurred to me).
I would like to see what you came up with to mate a column shifter to a top-loading transmission.
