Just be sure the oil pan on the 235 is in good shape- - - - -a 216 pan does not interchange. The difference in the stroke puts the dippers in a different position vertically. A 235 pan on a 216 could cause oil starvation, and the dippers on the 235 rods will hit the troughs on a 216 pan.
