On most bypass filters there is no resistance to the flow on the outlet side, the oil just dumps back in the pan.
On this setup it looks like the filter will do nothing but fill up.
216's are where I learned what a waste of money filters are on them. There is only a pressure differential between inlet and outlet at idle.
