It's been a few years back (ok, probably quite a few years back) I tried a different carb on my 55.2, 248, didn't run worth a darn, no power and cutting out. "But it says it should work" was the response I got, went back to Zenith and never looked back. I guess when they put them on in the first place. they knew what they were doing.
