ok so here is what i found, i went and located the wire that runs from the tank, took it all out, took my ohm meter, and checked it, no continunity, so i looked to see if there was a brake in the line, and i found that the top that goes to the sending unit was broken, the rubber protector hid the part that goes to the sending unit, went to parts store and found a connector that fit, installed it and low and behold, the gauge works, went and filled her up and i watched as i filled her up and she reads, so problem fixed, want to thank all here, for all the info, and the help
