As with just about everything else about our truck, I want to rebuild its mechanical fuel pump (diaphram and check valves starting to fail).
Can someone please clue me in to some details about this unit -- with top glass bowl w/integrated screen and metal bale?
After finding the model number, I would then like to find a kit for it.
If no kit available then perhaps buying a cheap mechanical pump from say, Rockauto and cannibalizing its parts for use in the glass bowl type -- if that idea will work..?
Any information and suggestions here are appreciated.
